An on-site survey is designed to give peace of mind. Fitmywoodfloor excepts no responsibility for any problems or losses arising from the information passed to a client. The information is given in good faith and is based from the experience of time served tradesmen and the use of specialist meter reading equipment. All equipment used is calibrated on a regular basis. No guarantee is given to the accuracy of any readings and should be excepted as such with the purchase of an on-site survey.  No losses or future floor failures will be excepted.

The readings and information passed to a client is given and lasts for that day and that day only. The climate and structural stability of any building is subject to change, therefore, no guarantee can be given that any advice or readings will be relevant in the future. Maintenance and climate stability is deemed solely the responsibility of the occupier or manager of any premises of which a survey by fitmywoodfloor has been carried out.

Important! The advice given does not override any instructions supplied by product manufacturers. As product guarantees are backed by suppliers, there guidelines hold priority. Any advice by fitmywoodfloor will be given with the product manufacturers guidelines taken as primary. All efforts should be made to supply, on request, product manufacturers literature or contact information as to ascertain their requirements.

Any advice or meter readings supplied by fitmywoodfloor, is done so to the best of our knowledge to give the best short and long term outcome of a wood floor installation. We are passionate about the service we provide and do so in good faith.

A Basic survey incorporates a single visit of approximately 1 hour. The charge for a basic on-site survey is payable on the day. A basic survey is given with verbal advice and may be recorded by the client.

A comprehensive survey is carried out over a 72 hour period incorporating a second visit to the premises. The charge for a comprehensive survey is payable on the first day. Alternatively, we will accept a proportionate deposit of 30% with the final payment due on receipt of a survey report. Terms and conditions will also apply to written reports. As future premises conditions can not be guaranteed, a written report is deemed accurate for the day of the survey only.
